I went along to Limerick on Ice this morning to take a few photos for the blog. I was at one of the early sessions so it was quieter but it was getting a lot busier as I was leaving. Limerick on ice brings the indoor Ice rink experience to Limerick every year and is a great hit with both kids and adults.
This year as always the setup is very professional with Futureama productions at the wheel to ensure that everything runs smoothly. They have
added a few extras this year including an in house photographer. A
Skate Skool on Sunday mornings 10am to 11am
just for kids under 12 for just €10 and from 11am to 12 pm for adults who want to learn how to skate - €12. Then on Saturday’s we have “Saturday Night Fever” with a live DJ playing all the latest hits from 8pm to 10pm Adults €17 and Children €15 for two full hours of skating. “Late Skate” Any night of the week from 8pm to 10pm you can skate for 2 hours for the price of one hour.
Since it started six years ago over 180,000 people have been through the doors a sign of how much fun it really is.
